Great snow quality at ski resorts in northern Hokkaido

In the northern Hokkaido region, there are not many large ski resorts north of Kamui Ski Rinks in Asahikawa City, but the snow quality is excellent with powder snow.
There are many relatively wide runs and not many skiers and snowboarders, so anyone can enjoy skiing, whether you are a fast skier, a slow skier, or a beginner or intermediate skier looking to improve your skills.
There are also many cafeterias, so you can enjoy skiing in a relaxed atmosphere.

※In the vicinity, only Nayoro Pyashiri Ski Resort allows backcountry skiing with notification.
The off-piste areas of ski resorts in the northern Hokkaido region are covered with snow and bushes where boards can get caught (there are no rocky ski resorts without bushes like in Europe and North America), and cliffs are also covered with snow, making them very unsafe.
Also, because there are not many skiers, it is difficult to find a lost skier off the slopes. The temperature is also low in many places, and if you are lost, you will rapidly lose your physical strength.
Therefore, backcountry skiing off the slopes is not recommended.
