Shibetsu Doyukai Country Club

The course is spread out on the hills on the east side of the city, which can be called Shibetsu City.
You can play overlooking the city of Shibetsu below and the mountains on the west side.
The course is short, 6,248 yards from the regular tees and 6,700 yards from the back tees.
Most of the courses are straight and there are no dogleg courses.
However, the course is not flat and is challenging in its own way.
There is a forest surrounding the course, and together with the forest on the east side of the club, one of the pleasures of playing here is that you can play in the great outdoors.

The course is open from mid-April to early November.
The rest of the year the course is closed to snow.

The beauty of the clubs here is their relaxed atmosphere.
Golf courses in the Kanto area, especially those close to Tokyo, may be long, but they are close to each other, giving them a cramped feeling.
Hokkaido’s golf courses are spacious.

I once lived in the United States, where golf was one of my favorite pastimes.
Hokkaido, including the Doyukai Country Club, has a look and feel similar to golf courses in the northern United States and Canada.
I would recommend this course even to seasoned golfers.
